What is RelevantKnowledge?

Advertised as an online community of more than 2 million members, RelevantKnowledge claims to do market research to provide members helpful insights and strategies on how to use the internet. While it seems like a handy service, the truth is that it can be quite intrusive as it displays random advertisements on the screens of affected users.

In order to achieve this, this adware uses a browser extension or a potentially unwanted program, which triggers the occurrence of different advertisements when you do a quick search on Google or visit your favorite websites.

These ads are often shown in the header of websites or sometimes overlaid in the content of a web page.

Step 1: Check Your Browser for Any Suspicious Browser Extensions

  3. If you notice an unwanted website, click it and tap Remove.

For Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Go to Options and select Restore to Default.
  2. Hit OK to continue.
  3. Under the Search Engine settings, navigate to the Search tab.
  4. Check your default search engine. If you notice anything strange, click on it and hit Remove.
