  1. Open the Applications screen on your Mac and search for the Fontbook app. The app could already be available on your toolbar as well.
  2. Search the web for available fonts to download.
  3. Select the font you wish to download and follow the download procedures.
  4. Fontbook will then validate the downloaded font and add them to your collection.

How to Remove Fonts on Your Mac

If for some reason you find that you have fonts you no longer use and that they’re just using up space, you can opt to remove those fonts using the below steps.

  1. Open Fontbook.
  2. Search for the font you want to delete.
  3. Click on the font to select it.
  4. Click on the Remove option on the File Menu.
  5. Fontbook will confirm whether you wish to remove the font. Click on the Remove button.
